Chinese Chef – Mokro

Role

Mokro is looking for an experienced Chinese Chef with strong hands-on expertise in preparing authentic and consistent Chinese dishes in a high-volume restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare Chinese dishes as per recipes, taste, presentation, and portion standards.
Handle wok, sauces, noodles, rice, starters, and main-course preparations.
Manage mise en place and ensure timely order execution.
Maintain consistency in taste and food quality.
Monitor food wastage, portion control, and inventory.
Maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
Coordinate with the kitchen team during busy service hours.
Follow kitchen SOPs and food-cost standards.

Requirements




Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chinese Chef.
Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients.
Experience with wok-based cooking and high-volume service.
Good understanding of hygiene and food safety.
Ability to work under pressure and manage busy service.
Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Salary: ₹25,000–₹35,000/month, based on experience Job Type: Full-time, In office
