About the RoleWe are looking for a Data Scientist / AI-ML Engineer with hands-on experience in Python, Machine Learning, Generative AI and API integration.

You will work on integrating AI/ML solutions into an existing React.js + Node.js application, so this role requires both AI/ML knowledge and practical software development experience.

What You'll Do
Build and integrate ML, AI and GenAI solutions into existing applications.




Develop Python-based AI/ML APIs using FastAPI or similar frameworks.
Work with LLMs, RAG, embeddings and AI agents.
Integrate AI services with Node.js backend and React.js frontend.
Work with databases and vector databases.
Develop, test, debug and deploy production-ready AI solutions.
Collaborate with developers to add AI capabilities to existing software.

You only have theoretical/academic ML experience.
You do not have hands-on Python + AI/ML development experience.
You have no experience integrating AI/ML solutions with software applications.

Interest in social impact, child welfare, and working within a nonprofit setting; prior experience in social sector analytics is an advantage.
