About the role
Lead and manage the complete Indian Accounting department.
Supervise, train, and mentor accountants and senior accounting professionals.
Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations.
Review and ensure accuracy of bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
Manage GST compliance, return filing, reconciliations, and related matters.
Oversee TDS calculations, payments, return filing, and reconciliations.
Review monthly and annual financial statements and finalization of accounts.
Handle multi-currency accounting and inter-company transactions.
Prepare and review MIS reports, management reports,



and financial analysis.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and other external specialists.
Establish robust accounting controls, SOPs, and review processes.
Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing activities.
Handle escalations and provide accounting guidance to the team.
Support management in financial planning, reporting, and decision-making.
Take ownership of department performance, productivity, quality, and client satisfaction.
