Junior Engineer (Civil) Grade - 1, Kochi

SYSTRA India, a global leader in engineering and consulting for public transport infrastructure, is looking for a Junior Engineer (Civil) Grade - 1 to join the Kochi Metro Project. SYSTRA has been a key partner in over 80% of metro projects across major Indian cities, including Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, and Kochi. As the General Consultant (GC) for Phase-II of the Kochi Metro Rail Project, SYSTRA offers a unique chance to be at the heart of this transformative infrastructure development.

Missions/Main Duties

As a Junior Engineer (Civil), your responsibilities will include:
Managing and leading the inspection and quality assurance efforts related to the project's construction program.
Conducting field visits and inspections of ongoing construction, including station construction, under various field conditions.
Performing interface management with various stakeholders and submitting periodic reports to relevant authorities.

Profile/Skills
Education:



Graduate or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in the relevant field for Graduates.
Minimum 7 years of experience in the relevant field for Diploma holders.
Out of this, a minimum of 2 years of experience should be in a similar role within elevated metro rail projects or transportation infrastructure bridge projects.
Software Proficiency: Experience in MS Office and AutoCAD is a must.
Communication: Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
Collaboration: Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
Problem-Solving: Ability to solve problems, especially in an integrated project delivery setting, applying industry best practices.
Leadership Qualities: A self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority.
