Responsibilities - Conduct design reviews to identify manufacturing challenges and facilitate technical discussions before approving drawings.
Perform risk assessment during the design phase.
Define Make or Buy strategy for parts based on criticality to ensure RFT.
Develop working standards, SOPs, routings, and manufacturing process designs for fabricated and machined components.
Conduct work measurement and method studies to optimize existing processes.
Lead current product execution projects.
Design and develop jigs and fixtures.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Generate cost-saving ideas and perform component cost estimation.
Provide technical support to production and suppliers in development activities.
