Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor – Civil to manage quantity estimation, costing, billing, tendering, contract administration and cost control for civil construction projects. The candidate will coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, consultants and suppliers to ensure accurate measurements, effective cost management and timely commercial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from civil, structural and architectural drawings.
Prepare and update BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for construction works.
Prepare detailed project estimates, budgets and cost plans.
Carry out rate analysis for civil works, materials, labour and subcontract packages.
Verify site measurements and quantities of executed work.
Prepare, check and certify RA Bills, subcontractor bills and final bills.
Monitor project expenditure against the approved budget.
Maintain cost control and cost tracking reports.
Prepare tender documents and support the tendering/procurement process.
Obtain and compare quotations from contractors and suppliers.




Evaluate commercial aspects of subcontractor and vendor quotations.
Prepare and maintain measurement sheets, reconciliation statements and cost records.
Identify and evaluate variations, change orders and additional works.
Assist in preparation and evaluation of claims and contractual correspondence.
Support contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
Coordinate with site and design teams to identify drawing/specification changes and their cost impact.
Conduct material reconciliation and monitor material consumption against quantities.
Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts and commercial updates.
Maintain proper documentation of BOQs, bills, contracts, variations and supporting records.
Participate in client, consultant, contractor and project review meetings.
Ensure commercial activities are completed accurately and within project timelines.
