Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Engineer with 8+ years of experience to deploy and support secure Linux platforms in enterprise and data centre environments. Solid expertise in NixOS, RHEL, Linux networking, firewalls, and security is required.

Key Responsibilities
Deploy and support enterprise Linux servers across production and non-production environments.
Manage NixOS, RHEL, GUIX, and other immutable Linux platforms.
Configure Linux networking, VLANs, routing, Layer 2, security zoning, and nftables.
Integrate and support Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Check Point firewalls.
Implement Linux hardening, security controls, and network segmentation.
Support Cilium, Suricata, and Zeek where applicable.
Perform upgrades, patching, migrations, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Collaborate with Network, Security, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams.
Maintain technical documentation and follow change management processes.

Mandatory Skills
8+ years of Linux administration/engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with NixOS and RHEL.




Experience with GUIX or immutable Linux OS.
Robust knowledge of Linux networking, TCP/IP, VLANs, security zoning, and stateful firewalls.
Hands-on nftables experience.
Experience with enterprise firewalls: Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point.
Strong troubleshooting and enterprise/data centre experience.
Familiarity with ITIL and change management.

Preferred Skills
Cilium, Suricata, Zeek, Kubernetes, Docker.
Automation tools: Ansible, Puppet, SaltStack.
Scripting: Bash, Python, Shell.
SELinux, Linux hardening, IaC/DevOps, and cloud platforms.
Certifications such as RHCE, RHCSA, LFCS, LFCE, CKA, or ITIL Foundation.
