Location: Taloja MIDC, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra Experience: 5 to 10 Years Employment Type: Full-Time, In office Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee daily financial operations, plant accounting, statutory compliances, and general ledger maintenance at our manufacturing unit in Taloja. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working within a manufacturing or chemical/processing environment.

Key Responsibilities General Accounting &
Bookkeeping: Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, journal entries, vouchers, and reconciliations (Bank, Vendor, Customer, and Inter-branch). Plant &
Manufacturing Accounts: Maintain accurate records for raw material procurement, work-in-progress (WIP), finished goods inventory, scrap sales, and manufacturing cost allocations.

Statutory

Compliance &
Taxation: Timely filing and handling of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) Calculation and deduction of TDS, preparation and filing of quarterly TDS returns, and issuance of Form 16/16A. Compliance with statutory dues including PF, ESIC, and Skilled Tax (PT). Invoicing &
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee e-invoicing, e-way bills,



vendor payment verification, purchase order 3-way matching, and follow-up on outstanding receivables.

Financial

Reporting &
Month-End Close: Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheet preparations, profit & loss statements, and trial balance finalization.

Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors, providing required documentation, schedules, and variance explanations. Payroll &
Petty Cash: Process monthly staff payroll, manage factory petty cash expenses, and maintain expense vouchers.

Qualifications &

Requirements Education: B.Com / M.Com.

Experience: 5 to 10 years in core accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial processing setup.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (Tally Prime / ERP 9 or relevant ERP platforms). Robust working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas) and MS Word. In-depth understanding of Indian Accounting Standards, GST regulations, and direct/indirect taxation.

Key Attributes: High accuracy in numerical data, strong analytical skills, and integrity in handling financial information.
