Position: Physiotherapist Intern

Job Purpose To provide supervised physiotherapy and rehabilitation support to patients while gaining practical clinical experience in a hospital workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Assist senior physiotherapists in patient assessment and treatment.
Provide physiotherapy services under supervision as per the treatment plan.
Assist in exercises, mobility training, strengthening and rehabilitation programs.
Support post-operative, orthopedic, neurological and general rehabilitation patients.
Monitor patient response during therapy and report any concerns to the senior physiotherapist.
Maintain proper documentation of physiotherapy sessions and patient progress.
Follow hospital infection-control, patient-safety and professional protocols.
Educate patients and attendants regarding prescribed exercises and mobility precautions under supervision.
Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of physiotherapy equipment.
Coordinate with doctors,



nurses and other healthcare professionals when required.
Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.

Eligibility
BPT / Bachelor of Physiotherapy pursuing or completed.
Students seeking clinical internship/training may apply.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn and work in a hospital environment.

Training / Stipend
Internship will be provided with hands-on clinical exposure under the supervision of qualified physiotherapists.
Stipend: As per hospital policy and candidate eligibility.
Internship duration and working hours will be decided by the hospital management.

Skills Required
Basic knowledge of physiotherapy assessment and therapeutic exercises.
Patient-handling skills.

Professional attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to follow clinical instructions and hospital protocols.

Reporting To: Senior Physiotherapist / Physiotherapy In-Charge / Hospital Management Pay: ₹8,956.83 - ₹9,590.95 per month
