Srikara Hospitals is looking for a qualified and experienced General Surgeon to join our medical team.

General Surgeon / Consultant General Surgeon

Qualification
MBBS with MS/DNB – General Surgery
Valid Medical Council registration

Experience
2–5 years of relevant surgical experience preferred
Candidates with strong operative and patient-management skills will be preferred

Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage patients requiring surgical intervention.
Perform elective and emergency general surgical procedures.
Conduct pre-operative assessment and post-operative management.
Attend OP, IP and emergency surgical cases.
Perform regular patient rounds and monitor recovery.
Coordinate with Anesthesia, ICU, Nursing, Radiology and other clinical departments.
Maintain accurate surgical records, operative notes and discharge documentation.
Ensure adherence to OT protocols,



infection-control standards and patient-safety guidelines.
Provide appropriate counselling to patients and attendants regarding surgical procedures and follow-up care.
Participate in clinical audits, departmental meetings and quality-improvement activities.

Robust surgical and clinical decision-making skills
Good emergency-management capabilities
Effective communication and patient counselling skills
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Qualified and ethical approach to patient care
