Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate daily operations of a 200-bus fleet.
Supervise depot staff, drivers, and operational teams.
Ensure adherence to government transport rules, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
Oversee scheduling, routing, trip planning, and deployment of buses.
Manage breakdowns, maintenance coordination, and fleet availability.
Optimize fuel usage, manpower planning, and cost control.
Liaise with government authorities, vendors, and stakeholders.
Handle passenger service issues, accident reporting, and operational emergencies.
Monitor KPI performance, prepare reports, and implement improvements.
Lead disciplinary processes, staff training, and operational audits.

Required Experience & Qualifications
5 years experience in bus transport operations.




Prior experience in a government depot / public transport undertaking:
Proven ability to manage large fleets (200+ buses).
Solid understanding of transport regulations, permit systems, and safety norms.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
Experience with fleet management software.
Ability to work under pressure and manage shift-based operations.
Solid analytical and reporting abilities.
