A Senior Staff Nurse is a registered nurse who provides high-level clinical care, oversees junior nursing staff, and assists ward managers with administrative and operational duties.

Core Responsibilities
Clinical Excellence: Administer complex medications, perform advanced clinical procedures, evaluate patient care plans, and respond to acute emergencies.
Team Leadership & Supervision: Oversee staff nurses, healthcare assistants, and nursing students; assign daily patient loads; and mentor junior staff.
Ward & Bed Management: Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges while maintaining smooth day-to-day unit operations in the absence of the Ward Manager.
Patient Safety & Quality Control: Ensure strict compliance with infection control protocols, conduct routine audits, and investigate incidents or patient complaints.
Communication & Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between physicians, multidisciplinary teams, patients, and their families.

Key Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)



or General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) diploma.
Licensure: Valid Registration with the state or national Nursing Council (e.g., RN license).
Experience: Typically requires 3 to 5+ years of active bedside clinical experience in a hospital workplace.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are standard prerequisites.

Essential Skills
Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking under high-pressure conditions.
Demonstrated leadership, conflict resolution, and staff mentorship abilities.
Deep knowledge of patient safety standard operating procedures (SOPs) and healthcare regulations.
Explicit verbal communication and proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
