Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
Lead, mentor, and manage warehouse staff (including supervisors, forklift operators, and general laborers), providing training, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety, Health, and Working Conditions Code, 2020 (OSH Code) standards and company policies to maintain a secure working setting.
Optimize warehouse layout, storage systems, and workflows to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes.
Monitor and control warehouse costs, including labor, equipment maintenance, and supplies.
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, transportation, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Analyze operational data and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, order accuracy,



productivity, and inventory turnover.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement lean warehousing practices.
Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure proper use of material handling tools (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
Handle customer complaints or returns related to warehouse operations.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Science / Commerce / Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
5+ years of progressive experience in warehouse management or distribution center operations.
3+ years in a leadership/supervisory role.
Proven track record in managing high-volume warehouse settings.
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, or similar).
Experience with lean manufacturing/warehouse principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Preferred: Valid forklif
