We are looking for an Electrical Wiring Harness Design Engineer with 0–3 years of experience and hands-on knowledge of CATIA. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and modification of electrical wiring harnesses for automotive/engineering applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical wiring harnesses using CATIA.
Create and modify 2D/3D wiring harness layouts and routing.
Prepare harness drawings, schematics, and related engineering documentation.
Understand electrical components, connectors, terminals, wires, clips, and routing requirements.
Perform harness packaging and ensure proper routing within vehicle/product constraints.
Support design changes, engineering modifications,
and release activities.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
Ensure designs comply with applicable customer and engineering standards.
Review designs and resolve basic design-related issues.
Required Skills
CATIA – Mandatory
Knowledge of Electrical Wiring Harness Design
Basic understanding of automotive electrical systems and components.
Understanding of 2D/3D CAD modelling and drafting.
Valuable knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T; basics.
Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualification
Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Automobile, or related engineering discipline.
