Position: Electrical & Automation Technician
Location: Chennai
Experience: 7–12Years
Industry: Manufacturing / Industrial Automation

Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems and automation equipment.
Diagnose and resolve VFD/Drive-related issues.
Perform motor maintenance, testing, and fault diagnosis.
Handle control panel wiring, modification, and maintenance.
Troubleshoot sensors, proximity switches, limit switches, and other field devices.
Perform electrical fault finding and corrective maintenance.
Troubleshoot and maintain servo drives and servo motors.
Work on HMI systems for monitoring and troubleshooting.
Handle basic pneumatic and hydraulic systems troubleshooting.
Understand and troubleshoot relay logic and control circuits.




Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical and automation systems.
Ensure minimum machine downtime and maintain safety standards.

Required Skills
Robust knowledge of PLC, VFD, HMI, Servo Drives and Electrical Control Systems.
Valuable understanding of control panel wiring and electrical circuits.
Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and control diagrams.
Valuable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or related field.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
