Purchase Engineer
Responsibilities and Duties
Analyze and evaluate suppliers to select suitable vendors offering high-quality products at competitive prices.
Negotiate with suppliers regarding cost, quality, lead time, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule, and quality.
Develop purchasing and sourcing strategies based on market analysis, supplier performance, and business requirements.
Maintain documented supplier strategies using market and competitive information.
Coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost-saving targets.
Review and manage the supplier base in line with the company's sourcing strategy.
Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and drive continuous improvement.
Prepare monthly purchase and supplier performance reports.




Coordinate with internal departments to understand material requirements and ensure timely procurement.
Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Management from time to time.

Valuable computer knowledge

Ability to analyze quotations and compare prices

Required Experience and Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
Experience: Fresher to 3 years

· Candidates with experience in Purchase/Procurement, supplier handling, quotation comparison, negotiation, and purchase coordination will be preferred.
