Role : Medical Coder / Medical Biller

Experience : Fresher to 3 Years

Location : Chennai , Hyderabad , Bangalore, Coimbatore

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days

Work Mode : Hybrid / WFO / WFH

Roles and Responsibilities:
Review patient medical records and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
Ensure medical codes accurately reflect diagnoses, procedures, and services provided.
Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies.
Verify patient demographics, insurance eligibility, and perks.
Review claims for accuracy and identify billing errors.
Follow up on denied, rejected, and unpaid claims.
Perform Accounts Receivable (AR) follow-up and insurance calling when required.
Post insurance and patient payments accurately.
Investigate claim denials and take appropriate corrective action.




Maintain accurate patient billing and account records.
Communicate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams.
Ensure compliance with healthcare billing and coding guidelines.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA requirements.

Skills and Knowledge:
Any degree or Diploma
Fresher or 3 Years of experience in Medical coding or medical billing
Hands on experience in ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS codes
Working knowledge with HIPAA
Should have a valuable understanding of insurance claims, and US healthcare billing processes
