Install HVAC systems according to specifications, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and control systems.
Inspect and perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions in HVAC systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Test HVAC systems to ensure proper operation and safety.
Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's instructions to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.
Keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and service reports.
Provide excellent customer service, including addressing customer concerns and answering questions about HVAC systems.
Stay updated on industry developments, current technologies, and best practices in HVAC installation and maintenance.




Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while performing HVAC work.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an HVAC training program or apprenticeship.
Certification or licensure as an HVAC technician (requirements vary by state or region).
Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems.
Solid mechanical and electrical skills.
Ability to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
