Job Summary

The Junior Accountant is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, handling invoices, and assisting in statutory compliance. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and basic knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in accounting software.
Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
Prepare vouchers, invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
Maintain petty cash records and expense statements.

Banking & Reconciliation
Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
Monitor daily banking transactions and payments.
Coordinate with banks for account-related activities.

GST & Taxation Support
Assist in GST filing and tax documentation.
Verify purchase and sales invoices for GST compliance.
Maintain records for TDS and other statutory deductions.

Accounts Payable & Receivable
Follow up on pending payments and receivables.
Maintain vendor and customer ledger accounts.
Reconcile outstanding balances regularly.

Documentation & Reporting




Maintain accounting files and financial records.
Prepare MIS reports and expense reports.
Support during internal and external audits.

Administrative Support
Assist the finance team in daily operational tasks.
Coordinate with departments for bill verification and approvals.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records.

Required Skills
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Familiarity with Tally, Busy, or ERP accounting software.
Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets.
Understanding of GST, TDS, and banking processes.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Positive communication and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification
B.Com / M.Com / Accounting-related qualification.
Additional certification in Tally or GST preferred.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
