United Media Computers (UMC), a printing and packaging company based in Chandigarh, is hiring a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate, compliant bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will handle accounting entries, statutory compliance, and financial reporting with precision.

Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting records — purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
Prepare and manage invoices, bills, and payment vouchers
Handle bank reconciliation and cash flow tracking
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Ensure timely statutory compliance — GST, TDS, PF, ESI filings
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books
Prepare financial statements and MIS reports for management




Coordinate with auditors during internal/external audits
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
Liaise with vendors, clients, and banks for financial matters

Requirements
3–5 years of experience in accounting/finance, preferably in manufacturing/printing industry
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred)
Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel
Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance
Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping
Valuable numerical accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
