Reporting To - EVP - Operations

Job Purpose

The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the manufacturing facility by ensuring secure, productive, cost-effective and quality-driven operations while meeting production, profitability and compliance objectives.

Manufacturing Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end plant operations.
Achieve production targets.
Improve OEE and productivity.
Optimize manpower and machine utilization.
Drive continuous improvement.
Monitor daily plant KPIs.
Ensure uninterrupted production.
Review production MIS.
Reduce wastage and improve yield.
Coordinate with Sales and Supply Chain.

Quality & Compliance
Ensure FSSAI, BIS, GMP and HACCP compliance.
Drive CAPA and RCA.
Lead internal and external audits.
Maintain SOP adherence.
Reduce customer complaints.

Engineering & Maintenance




Lead preventive and predictive maintenance.
Improve equipment reliability.
Reduce breakdowns.
Manage utilities.
Support installation and commissioning of current machinery.

Financial Responsibilities
Prepare annual plant budget.
Control manufacturing cost.
Optimize conversion cost.
Monitor cost per litre.
Support CAPEX planning.

Leadership Responsibilities
Lead Production, Quality, Engineering and Warehouse teams.
Develop talent and succession plans.
Conduct performance reviews.
Build accountability and ownership culture.

Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Production or related discipline.
MBA preferred.
10–15 years' experience with minimum 5 years as Plant Manager.
Beverage/FMCG/Food manufacturing experience preferred.
