Job description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Package Engineer responsible for the review of project documents and drawings, design, detailed engineering, and documentation related to all skid packages. This role involves preparing project plans, managing actions, and ensuring effective control of vendors and sub-contractors involved in skid assembly works.

Role & responsibilities
Participate in project kick-off meetings.
Prepare project schedules using MS Project or Primavera based on project requirements.
Review engineering specifications and deliverables; prepare vendor document registers.
Liaise with the Project Manager, Senior Project Engineer, or Department Head for deviation approvals.
Create and review detailed skid package drawings and documentation with the project team.
Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement, and quality teams to ensure timely deliverables.
Develop project-related procedures and documentation for client approvals.
Assist in updating project schedules and plans.
Conduct internal review meetings to monitor progress and resolve project issues.
Attend technical and progress review meetings.
Prepare and submit progress reports and presentations to clients.




Manage day-to-day communication with clients and coordinate across disciplines.
Ensure timely submission of deliverables and expedite client approvals.
Oversee sub-contractor activities for skid fabrication, assembly, and testing.
Ensure on-time and within-budget delivery of skids and final documentation.
Responsible for issuing As-Built documents.

Preferred candidate profile
Proficient in MS Project or equivalent project management software
Robust project management and multitasking skills
Familiarity with international codes and standards
Extensive experience in project execution of skid packages
Ability to handle multiple projects and coordinate with diverse teams and clients

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Chennai): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
