Job Summary
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of experience designing electronic enclosures.
Design and deliver next-generation networking systems (modular and fixed chassis) and cards that meet customer requirements.
Develop creative mechanical solutions using sheet metal, plastic, and die-cast materials that comply with EMI, safety, and other standards.
Create 3D CAD models using Creo or NX and detailed drawings applying GD&T; principles.
Perform 2D tolerance analysis for complex electro-mechanical assemblies.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams and suppliers to resolve design issues impacting field or production.
Exchange PCB design IDF files with ECAD/hardware teams and address mechanical integrity concerns.
Host peer and cross-functional design reviews.
Proficiency in 3D MCAD tools (Creo/NX).
Experience with sheet metal design for mid to high volumes, GD&T;, and tolerance analysis.
Solid knowledge of sheet metal, plastic,
and die-cast tooling.
Key Responsibilities

To lead a team of designers, provide guidance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality design solutions in alignment with the overall business goals.
To present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders and gather feedback.
To establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices.
To stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies to drive innovation and excellence in design.
