Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Application Packaging Specialist with a solid background in packaging, configuring, and troubleshooting software applications in an enterprise setting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with MSI packaging, application customization, and deployment best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy application packages in accordance with organizational and client requirements.
Customize and repackage third-party MSI/EXE installers for seamless enterprise deployment.
Implement appropriate file/folder access, registry changes, and user permission controls as part of the packaging process.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex packaging issues using diagnostic and monitoring tools.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and desktop support teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.




Document packaging procedures, configurations, and deployment instructions.
Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and emerging technologies in application packaging and virtualization.

Key Skills & Tools:
Robust expertise in MSI packaging (InstallShield, Wise Package Studio, AdminStudio, Orca)
Experience with SCCM, Intune, or other deployment tools
Knowledge of Windows Installer, scripting (PowerShell, VBScript), and registry management
Familiarity with application virtualization technologies (e.g., App-V, ThinApp) is a plus
Solid understanding of Windows OS architecture and enterprise IT environments
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
