PageX is an accounting firm built around AI. We handle the full compliance work for small Indian companies: books, GST, TDS, ITR and ROC.

We are early. This is our first accounting hire, and you will be the senior-most accounting person in the company.

Role & responsibilities
Independently own the monthly books for a set of client companies in Tally Prime. You will run these accounts, not assist someone who runs them
Sales vouchers, purchase entries, expense booking, journal entries and ledger scrutiny
Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B; reconcile purchase data against GSTR-2B (ITC matching)
TDS computation, challans and quarterly TDS returns
Monthly bank reconciliation (BRS) and creditor / debtor reconciliation
Month-end and year-end closing, and preparation of financial statements and balance sheets
Monthly MIS reports for each client
Review the drafts our AI system prepares, correct what is wrong, and flag what needs a second look
Work with our Chartered Accountant on monthly review and year-end finalisation
Coordinate with clients on WhatsApp for documents, invoices and queries

Preferred candidate profile
CA firm experience is what we are looking for most.



You have handled several client companies at the same time and know how to switch between them without losing track
2 to 5 years of hands-on accounting experience
You have filed GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B yourself on the portal, not only prepared the data for someone else
You have taken a set of books to finalisation at least once
Solid on Tally Prime and Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
B.Com, M.Com or CA Inter
Comfortable learning current software. You will be one of the first people to use our tools
Good spoken and written communication, because you will speak to clients directly
Candidates relocating to Gurgaon are welcome to apply

Good to have
ROC and MCA filing knowledge
Experience with D2C, SaaS or agency clients
Experience with Zoho Books or any cloud accounting software
