Role & responsibilities
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, manufacturers, and wholesalers to expand the retail product portfolio.
Negotiate competitive pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules to maximize profit margins.
Assess vendor performance regularly based on product quality, delivery timelines, and pricing consistency.
Monitor stock levels continuously using retail ERP or inventory software to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
Generate Purchase Orders (POs) accurately based on store requisitions and historic sales data
Maintain updated records of digital procurement databases, including supplier profiles, contracts, invoices, and pricing matrices.
Collaborate with the accounts department to verify billing accuracy and ensure timely payments to vendors.
