Description – Senior Accountant

Location: Kochi, Vyttila

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Software Knowledge: Tally Prime

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, banking transactions, payroll processing, and financial record maintenance. The ideal candidate should have robust accounting knowledge, proficiency in Tally Prime, and the ability to handle accounting activities independently.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and manage all accounting records, including vouchers, receipts, bills, and payments.

Perform bank reconciliation and monitor payment collections.

Prepare monthly GST workings and filing, along with TDS computation.

Handle ESIC filing and statutory compliance activities.

Process payroll and employee salary-related tasks.

Manage and coordinate the accounts department activities.

Reconcile sundry debtors and creditors regularly.





Follow up on outstanding payments through telephone calls and emails.

Maintain daily stock records and inventory-related documentation.

Handle petty cash management and record keeping.

Maintain sales and purchase registers accurately in Tally Prime.

Manage banking activities, including cheque issuance, cash deposits, NEFT, and RTGS transactions.

Handle day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and finance.

Proficiency in Tally Prime.

Good knowledge of GST, TDS, ESIC, payroll processing, and bank reconciliation.

Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial records.

Positive communication and follow-up skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy in financial transactions.

Pay: ₹25,387.58 - ₹30,664.71 per month
