Role & responsibilities

Implement and monitor environmental management systems (EMS) as per ISO 14001.

Ensure compliance with pollution control board norms (APPCB) and handle renewals of environmental consents (CTE/CTO).

Maintain records and coordinate for audits related to waste management, water treatment, and air emissions.

Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal as per legal requirements.

Develop and enforce safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all manufacturing areas (Cell, Module, Utilities, etc.).
Conduct risk assessments (JSA, HIRA) and ensure mitigation plans are implemented.
Monitor occupational health programs, emergency preparedness, and first aid facilities.
Organize periodic safety inspections,



internal audits, and safety committee meetings.
Conduct regular EHS training and safety drills for employees and contractors.
Drive employee engagement programs such as Safety Week, Setting Day, etc.
Maintain all statutory documentation and coordinate with local authorities for inspections.
Prepare and submit monthly EHS performance reports, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
Support ISO audits (45001/14001) and internal EHS performance reviews.
