Job Purpose

Business Development team resource is one of the key in Demand Generation activity. BD is handling the Architects community. The role of BD in Havells has evolved now BD team is handling Architects as SPOC for entire range of products of Enterprise of Havells India to enhance “Wallet Share” with these Architects & Designers. As we enhance the wallet share, we can get higher preference from them. Also, to enhance wallet share BD is handling all types of projects of Architects – residential / commercial. It’s observed that among all the stake holders in a B2B landscape, these Architects are the most knowledgeable, most difficult community to handle, and they carry most of the information of project besides direct connect with end user. Building rapport with them is a long process,



hence resource having some lineage of past connects with architects or business history that becomes significant success factor.

Candidate Criteria

Experience in Business Development Role. Candidate need to be matured player of building industry, understands B2B project lifecycle from initial to final stage and should have learning quotient about such large portfolio of Havells. Candidate with min 5 yrs exp in B2B and robust experience ( 3 to 5 years) in handling the architect community. Should carry notable achievements in specification creation & winning multi-stake holder involved B2B building industry projects . Candidate should enjoy personal equity/rapport with principal architects of the firm.
