Role & responsibilities

Job Description:

Financial Planning and Budgeting:
Collaborate with the finance team and hospital leadership to develop and manage annual budgets.
Monitor budget performance and provide financial forecasting.

Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present financial reports, statements and analyses to senior management, the board of directors and other stakeholders.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.

Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analyses and evaluate the financial impact of various initiatives, providing recommendations for improving financial performance.
Identify cost-saving prospects and revenue enhancement strategies.

Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
Ensure compliance with healthcare finance regulations, billing and reimbursement guidelines.
Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to address financial and regulatory issues.

Treasury Management:
Oversee cash management, investments and debt to optimize financial resources.
Develop and implement investment and debt management strategies.

Audit Management:
Coordinate and manage financial audits,



working with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
Address audit findings and implement necessary changes.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments and collections.

Financial Systems and Processes:
Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Implement financial best practices and automation where applicable.

Financial Team Leadership:
Provide leadership, supervision and guidance to the finance and accounting team.
Ensure team members are well-trained and equipped to perform their roles effectively.

Required Skill Sets:
Extensive experience in healthcare finance, accounting, or financial management, including supervisory or managerial roles.
Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare regulations, reimbursement models and financial reporting standards.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
