Job Description

The candidate will contribute to overall departmental sales strategy of the company by generating business for electronics products from assigned territory / accounts. Candidate will represent the company to various customer segments with major focus on Academic Institutions. Candidate will be responsible for achieving annual territory sales target through a consultative account management, maintaining an awareness of the business and competitive setting.

This is an individual contributor role.

Key Accountabilities:
Achieve and exceed annual sales targets, contributing to overall revenue objectives of the India Digital Products Team
Plan, schedule and carry out regular sales visits to customers to achieve financial targets within assigned territory across digital products portfolio, customizing documentation and tools to maximize revenue opportunities
Cultivate strong, holistic relationship with the customer base, working to ensure that trading with each account is sustainable, profitable delivering high level of customer satisfaction




Report periodically to the line manager to summarize the sales progress and the business setting
Candidate will be responsible for the coverage of Institutions as well as channel partners to ensure maximum revenue generation
Prepare and contribute to sales meetings and event to build strategic awareness and to gather market relevant intelligence
Special knowledge of selling blended products will be highly desired skill for this role Qualifications
Candidate must have a rich experience of working in sales workplace
Knowledge of the academic publishing and have good experience of the institutional selling
Competent user of core MS Office package
