Required Technical Skills
Robust hands-on experience with Veeam Backup Replication.
Good knowledge of Veeam Backup Replication 12.x and up-to-date Veeam architecture.
Experience with VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, or KVM/OLVM environments.
Robust knowledge of SAN, NAS, NFS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, and backup repositories.
Experience with enterprise storage platforms such as IBM, HPE, Dell EMC, or equivalent.
Knowledge of Veeam Backup Copy, Replication, SOBR, CDP, SureBackup, Instant Recovery, and recovery operations.
Experience with immutable repositories, hardened Linux repositories, object storage, and ransomware protection.
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewall requirements,



and network troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Active Directory, databases, and application-consistent backups.
Experience with tape backup and LTO libraries is desirable.
Knowledge of PowerShell or scripting for backup automation and reporting is an advantage.
