Job Description
Malware & Phishing Defense: Manage Cisco Talos threat intelligence feeds to block spam, viruses, and malicious attachments.
Utilize Advanced Malware Protection (AMP) for file reputation and sandboxing.
Connection & Reputation Filtering: Adjust IP, domain, and sender reputation parameters to drop malicious connection attempts.
Outbreak Filters:



Configure real-time outbreak rules to protect against recent, zero-day threat campaigns
Content Filtering: Create custom message filters to block specific file types, strip harmful scripts, or enforce company-wide disclaimers
Data Loss Prevention (DLP): Set up policies to scan outbound traffic and prevent the leakage of sensitive data (e.g., PII, financial information)
Domain Security: Enforce Sender Policy Framework (SPF), DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM), and Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance (DMARC) to prevent domain spoofing
Message Tracking & Analytics: Track message dispositions, investigate delivery failures, and generate executive reports on threat trends using centralized management dashboards
Quarantine Management: Review, release, or delete quarantined emails, and address false positives to prevent business disruption
Monitor Sender Ecosystem: Regularly review Valimail Mo
