We are looking for an experienced
Guidewire Rating Developer
with strong hands-on expertise in
Guidewire PolicyCenter and Rating
. The ideal candidate should have experience designing, configuring, developing, and maintaining rating solutions for Property & Casualty (P&C;) insurance products.

The candidate will work closely with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other Guidewire developers to translate insurance rating requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, and enhance
Guidewire PolicyCenter Rating
solutions.
Implement and maintain
Rating Engine
configurations and rating logic.
Work extensively with
Rate Books, Rate Tables, Rate Routines, and Rating Worksheets
.
Develop and customize business logic using
Gosu
.
Configure and enhance the
PolicyCenter Product Model
.
Translate complex insurance pricing and rating requirements into Guidewire solutions.
Implement rating factors, modifiers, parameters, and calculations based on business requirements.




Troubleshoot rating discrepancies and resolve PolicyCenter configuration issues.
Perform unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and defect resolution.
Work with Guidewire integrations and APIs wherever required.
Collaborate with business, functional, QA, and development teams throughout the SDLC.
Follow Guidewire development standards and best practices.

Mandatory Skills
5+ years of overall relevant IT/Guidewire experience.
Strong hands-on experience with
Guidewire PolicyCenter
.
Robust hands-on experience with
Guidewire Rating
.
Experience with
Rating Engine
configuration and customization.
Hands-on experience with
Rate Books / Rate Tables / Rate Routines
.
Robust programming experience in
Gosu
.
Experience with
PolicyCenter Product Model and configuration
.
Good understanding of
Property & Casualty (P&C;) Insurance
.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
