Job Description: Senior Lead Developer (Java / Microservices)

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Lead Developer
to design, build, and scale robust backend systems. The ideal candidate has robust hands-on expertise in
Java, Microservices architecture, AWS cloud services
, and a proven ability to solve complex engineering problems. You will play a key role in both
High-Level System Design (HLD)
and
Low-Level System Design (LLD)
, driving technical decisions that impact scalability, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices using Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks).
Own High-Level System Design (HLD) ? define system architecture, service boundaries, data flow, and integration patterns for new and existing systems.
Own Low-Level System Design (LLD) ? translate architecture into detailed class diagrams, database schemas, API contracts, and design patterns.
Architect and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS,



leveraging services such as ECS (container orchestration) and S3 (object storage).
Design and implement RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices with a focus on scalability, fault tolerance, and maintainability.
Apply strong problem-solving skills to debug complex production issues, optimize performance, and improve system reliability.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
Participate in capacity planning, monitoring, and incident response for production systems.

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of skilled backend development experience
Robust proficiency in Java and related frameworks (Spring / Spring Boot).
Solid experience building and maintaining Microservices architectures.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, particularl
