About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused
Captain – Italian Cuisine
to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, excellent guest-handling skills, and the ability to lead the service team while ensuring a smooth and memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests and provide professional, warm, and attentive service.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and explain menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to guests.
Possess positive knowledge of
Italian cuisine, pasta, pizza, sauces, cheeses, and beverages
.
Recommend dishes and suggest suitable combinations based on guest preferences.
Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
Handle guest queries, feedback,



and complaints professionally.
Ensure proper table setup, restaurant cleanliness, and service standards.
Supervise Stewards/Waiters during the shift and ensure smooth floor operations.
Monitor food presentation and service quality.
Coordinate with the Chef and kitchen team regarding special requests, allergies, and modifications.
Assist in training junior service staff on menu knowledge and service standards.
Ensure compliance with restaurant hygiene, safety, and operational procedures.
Handle billing and payment processes when required.
Support the Restaurant Manager/Outlet Manager in daily operations.
