Experience: Minimum 1015years in garment pattern making (export-oriented unit preferred).

Proficiency in manual pattern making; CAD software knowledgeRichpeace is an advantage.

Job Purpose:

To create accurate garment patterns based on design specifications, ensuring proper fit, construction, and production feasibility while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Pattern Development
Develop first patterns from design sketches, tech packs, or samples.
Ensure patterns meet size, fit, and garment construction requirements.
Make pattern adjustments for different size ranges (grading).
Sampling & Fitting
Work closely with sampling and design teams during garment prototyping.
Conduct fittings with models and modify patterns based on feedback.




Ensure patterns are production-friendly to minimize wastage and improve efficiency.
Technical Specifications
Prepare detailed cutting and sewing instructions for the production team.
Maintain technical accuracy for seam allowances, grain lines, notches, and markers.
Coordination
Collaborate with designers, merchandisers, and production teams for timely approvals.
Communicate clearly with tailors and operators regarding construction techniques.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure patterns meet buyer specifications and quality requirements.
Keep track of approved patterns and maintain an organized pattern library.

Requirements:
Education: Diploma/Certificate in Pattern Making, Garment Technology, or equivalent.
Skills:
Solid understanding of garment construction and fabrics.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
