Area Sales Manager – FMCG

Job Description:

We are looking for a energetic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth and expand our FMCG product distribution in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Manage and develop distributors, dealers, wholesalers and retailers.
Increase product distribution and market coverage.
Develop new distributors and retail outlets.
Generate primary and secondary sales.
Plan and execute market visits and sales activities.
Monitor stock availability and product movement.
Build strong relationships with distributors and retailers.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing and market trends.
Lead, guide and motivate the sales team.
Ensure proper execution of schemes, promotions and merchandising.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.
Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
Travel within the assigned territory as required.





Requirements:
Minimum 3 – 9 years of experience in FMCG Sales preferred.
Experience in General Trade / Distributor Sales will be an advantage.
Valuable communication and negotiation skills.
Robust knowledge of local market and retail network.
Target-oriented and self-motivated.
Ability to handle and motivate a sales team.
Willingness to travel within the assigned area.
Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
Graduate / MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
