Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage at least three industrial automation projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring seamless execution.
Work closely with clients to gather requirements, prepare automation concepts, and obtain DAP (Design Approval Process) approvals.
Collaborate with Electrical and Controls teams to design, develop, and integrate automation solutions.
Oversee the selection and specification of automation components and technologies, including indexers, conveyors, modular pneumatics, pick-and-place systems, and grippers.
Evaluate and specify articulated or parallel robots, end effectors, robotic grippers, gantry systems, and cobots (experience in cobots is an added advantage).
Integrate vision systems and linear motion products into automation solutions.
Manage and implement common industrial automation operations such as sorting, stacking/unstacking, locating, storing, conveying, pick-and-place, tending, tracking, packing, kitting, light assembly, palletizing, and depalletizing.




Conceptualize and design special-purpose or general-purpose automation systems for various industrial applications, including motor power calculations, gearbox selection, and standard machine component integration.
Ensure compliance with European machinery directives 2006/42/EC, UL standards, and CE requirements.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety measures are in place for all automation projects.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, manufacturing, and commissioning teams to ensure project milestones are met.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and project teams.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
