Position Summary

The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end operations of the fresh food manufacturing business, ensuring efficient production, quality compliance, food safety, inventory control, logistics coordination, and continuous improvement of operational performance.

The role requires solid leadership in a rapid-paced setting where product freshness, quality, yield, and on-time delivery are critical to business success.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management
Plan, organize, and oversee daily production operations.
Must have experience in setting up a food manufacturing unit.
Must be leading the operations in the previous Company.
Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
Optimize manpower utilization across shifts.

Food Safety & Quality Compliance
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
Maintain hygiene and sanitation practices across manufacturing operations.
Lead corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.

Team Leadership




Lead and mentor production managers, supervisors, and operational teams.
Establish performance objectives and conduct regular reviews.
Drive employee engagement, training, and capability development.
Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.

Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with all applicable labor, factory, food safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintain statutory records and operational documentation.
Lead workplace safety initiatives and accident prevention programs.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in:
Food Technology
Food Engineering
Operations Management

Experience
710 years of experience in Fresh food manufacturing operations.
Experience in fresh food, ready-to-eat, FMCG food, or cold-chain operations preferred.
