We are looking for an experienced
Taxation qualified
with strong expertise in
Indian Direct & Indirect Taxation
. The individual will be responsible for managing tax compliance, advisory, planning, audits, assessments, and tax risk across India.

The role requires solid knowledge of Indian tax regulations along with practical experience in
cross-border transactions, Direct tax, Transfer pricing, GST, Customs, withholding taxes and tax treaties
.

The candidate will work closely with Finance, Legal, Business, HR, Procurement, and international stakeholders to ensure tax-productive and compliant business operations.

Key Responsibilities
Direct Taxation – India
Manage end-to-end Indian corporate income-tax compliance.
Review and oversee preparation and filing of income-tax returns.
Manage advance tax calculations and tax provisioning.
Handle tax assessments, notices, appeals, and correspondence with tax authorities.
Support tax audits and statutory audits.
Review applicability of
TDS/TCS
provisions and ensure timely compliance.




Identify tax risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
Support tax planning and optimization initiatives within applicable laws.
Monitor changes in Indian direct-tax legislation and assess their business impact.
International Taxation
Provide tax support for
cross-border transactions and international business operations
.
Analyse tax implications of cross-border service arrangements, royalties, management fees, software/technology transactions and intercompany transactions.
Apply and interpret
Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAAs)
.
Advise on withholding tax implications for overseas payments.
Support determination of
Permanent Establishment (PE)
and other international tax considerations.
Evaluate tax implications of setting up or operating entities in foreign jurisdictions.
Coordinate with overseas tax advisors and local finance teams.
Support international tax audits, assessment
