Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and passionate
Chef de Partie (CDP) – Bakery & Pastry
to join our culinary team. The CDP will be responsible for managing the bakery/pastry section, ensuring consistent product quality, efficient production, and high standards of hygiene and food safety.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation and production of
breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and other bakery products
.
Manage the bakery/pastry station, ensuring proper organization, stock availability, and equipment maintenance.
Ensure consistency in
taste, texture, quality, presentation, and portioning
.
Supervise, train, and mentor
Commis Chefs and apprentices
.
Ensure compliance with
HACCP, FSSAI, and food safety & hygiene standards
.
Coordinate with the Sous Chef/Head Baker on
current product development and recipe improvements
.
Monitor ingredient usage, minimize wastage, and support




inventory and cost management
.
Ensure production targets and schedules are met, particularly during peak periods.
Maintain a clean, organized, and protected working environment.

Qualifications & Skills
5–10 years of relevant experience
in bakery/pastry operations, preferably with experience as a Chef de Partie.
Robust knowledge of
bread making, pastry techniques, cake production, and baking science
.
Strong leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a
fast-paced kitchen environment
.
Good understanding of
food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
.
Knowledge of
inventory management, production planning, and cost control
.
Solid attention to detail and organizational skills.
Creativity and innovation in
recipe development and presentation
.
Proficiency in operating
commercial bakery and pastry equipment
.
