Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Economics Teacher with robust knowledge of the CISCE/ISC curriculum to teach Classes IXXII. The candidate should have excellent subject knowledge, effective classroom-management skills, and proven experience in preparing students for ISC Board examinations.

Educational Qualification
Master's Degree in Economics from a recognised university.
B.Ed. from a recognised institution is mandatory/preferred as per applicable school requirements.
Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience as an Economics Teacher.
Prior experience in a CISCE/ISC-affiliated school is mandatory/preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Teach Economics for Classes IX to XII as per the CISCE/ISC curriculum.
Plan and deliver structured, engaging, and application-based lessons.
Prepare students comprehensively for CISCE Board examinations.
Develop lesson plans,



worksheets, assignments, projects, question papers, and revision materials.
Teach and assess Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian Economic Development, Statistics and related topics as prescribed by the ISC syllabus.
Use current economic affairs, case studies, graphs, data analysis, and real-life examples to enhance conceptual understanding.
Conduct regular assessments, mock examinations, remedial classes, and revision sessions.
Analyse student performance and implement appropriate academic interventions.
Maintain accurate academic, assessment, and attendance records.
Provide individual guidance and mentoring to students.
Participate in PTMs, academic meetings, workshops, examinations, school events, and departmental activities.
Collaborate with the Academic Coordinator and other faculty members for curriculum planning and academic improvement.
