Job Summary

The Industrial Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs to ensure a protected workplace and compliance with applicable regulations. The role focuses on accident prevention, risk assessment, safety training, emergency preparedness, and fostering a robust safety culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Management
Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and standards.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national safety regulations.
Conduct workplace inspections and safety audits regularly.
Monitor adherence to safety rules and recommend corrective actions.

Risk Assessment & Hazard Control
Identify workplace hazards and conduct risk assessments.
Develop and implement hazard control measures.
Lead Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), and Permit-to-Work systems.




Track and mitigate high-risk activities such as confined space entry, hot work, work at height, and lifting operations.

Incident Investigation
Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
Prepare incident reports and root cause analysis.
Recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Maintain accident and safety performance records.

Training & Awareness
Conduct safety induction programs for employees and contractors.
Organize regular safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.
Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.
Evaluate safety competency and training effectiveness.

Emergency Preparedness
Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
Conduct mock drills for fire, chemical spills, medical emergencies, and evacuation.
Coordinate with fire departments, hospitals, and emergency agencies.
