Job Description

Purpose of the Role
On time response to the Machining centre and Lathe work holding requirements in terms of Feasibility study, Price Estimation, Concept Layouts & DAP layouts.
Ensure On time availability of work holding devices through in house or out sourced facilities.
Aggressive and competitive quote to customer through creative ideas to ensure order conversion.
Ensure specified numbers of work holding devices execution as per target.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Support the SIC in ground level implementation of business plan and strategy for Application Engineering department in alignment to the organizational strategy, vision and goals
Work towards ensuring on time response to the Machining centre and Lathe work holding requirements in terms of Feasibility study, Price Estimation, Concept Layouts & DAP layouts.
Work towards achieving target AE sales and increase AE Sales revenue in target markets as projected in the Business Plan




Evaluate and research on customer demands by analysing feedback from internal as well as external sources to deliver premium customer experience
Continuously assess customer requirements and provide timely and effective solutions aligned with the clients' needs
Enhance customer satisfaction through technical support and expertise in machine tool technologies
Study the drawings, check for feasibility, clamping methods and prepare estimate fixture cost
Responsibility of On time designing of fixtures.
Freeze the fixture concept for the particular requirement and suggest suitable clamping methods for machining the component.
Discuss with work holding suppliers and arrive cost based on the clamping methods.
Concept of work holding is to be arrived in discussion with internal stake holders.
Study the scope of supply of tooled up order in detail which is received from sales and chart out a plan to execute the Tool Design related act
