Role & responsibilities
Plan, execute and monitor electrical operation and maintenance activities across the CHP.
Ensure high availability and reliability of electrical equipment and systems.
Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of HT/LT systems and CHP electrical equipment.
Maintain and troubleshoot motors, MCCs, PCCs, transformers, HT/LT panels, switchgear, VFDs, soft starters, APFC panels and associated equipment.
Monitor electrical systems associated with crushers, conveyors, screens, feeders, stackers/reclaimers and other material handling equipment.
Analyze electrical breakdowns and identify root causes to prevent recurrence.
Develop and monitor preventive maintenance schedules based on equipment criticality and operating conditions.
Coordinate planned shutdowns and ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and within the scheduled time.
Review electrical drawings, SLDs,



equipment manuals and technical documents.
Monitor electrical parameters and identify abnormal trends that could lead to equipment failure.
Coordinate with Mechanical, Instrumentation, Operations and Safety teams for integrated plant maintenance.

Preferred candidate profile
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute.
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering preferred.
510 years of relevant experience in electrical operation and maintenance.
Experience in Coal Handling Plant, mining, power plant, cement, steel, bulk material handling or other heavy industrial settings preferred.
Robust hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems is essential.
