About the Role

We are looking for a technically skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer – Medical Equipment to handle installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, breakdown service, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, and servicing of medical equipment at hospitals and healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities

* Install, commission, test, and provide basic user training for medical equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance, inspection, functional checks, and servicing*.

Attend breakdown calls and perform fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, and component replacement*.

Perform calibration, performance verification, alarm, and safety checks* as applicable.

Service equipment such as patient monitors, ventilators, OT equipment, sterilizers/autoclaves, pumps, surgical equipment, and diagnostic devices*.





* Provide in office technical support and maintain positive customer relationships.

Prepare service, PM, installation, calibration, and breakdown reports*.

* Identify required spare parts and maintain service records.

Follow manufacturer guidelines, electrical safety, infection-control, and hospital safety procedures*.
Required Technical Skills

Knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits, AC/DC systems, power supplies, wiring, relays, switches, and grounding/earthing*.

Understanding of PCBs, sensors, displays, batteries, motors, pumps, valves, heaters, compressors, and electromechanical systems*.

Ability to troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical faults* using service manuals and circuit/wiring diagrams.

Practical knowledge of digital multimeter and basic test instruments*.
