We are looking for an experienced
Program Advisor – Climate Smart Agriculture
to drive climate-smart agriculture initiatives across
Tamil Nadu.

Key Responsibilities
Lead implementation of climate-smart agriculture programs.
Manage partnerships with government, universities, NGOs, research institutions & private sector.
Support government liaison, policy engagement and stakeholder coordination.
Provide field-level implementation and technical guidance.
Contribute to monitoring, data analysis, knowledge development and reporting.
Represent the program at state-level forums and stakeholder meetings.

Key Requirements
Master’s degree in
Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Science, Climate Change, Rural Development,



Agricultural Economics, Public Policy
or related fields.
7+ years
of relevant experience in agriculture, climate resilience, rural development or related sectors.
Robust experience in stakeholder/partnership management and government engagement.
Understanding of
Maharashtra agriculture, climate-smart agriculture, nutrient management and sustainable farming
.
Marathi proficiency is strongly preferred.
Willingness to travel extensively across Maharashtra (
30–50%
).
