About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development to join our SAP team in Kolkata.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP/ABAP OO, RICEF developments, Enhancements, Interfaces, Forms, Reports, and SAP integrations. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and HANA-based development will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, test, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP and ABAP OO.
Develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF) and custom SAP solutions.
Work on ALV Reports, Classical Reports, Interactive Reports, and OO ALV.
Develop and maintain SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.
Work with BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs, Function Modules, and Web Services.
Implement User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Framework.
Handle Module Pool and Dialog Programming.




Perform performance tuning and optimization of existing ABAP programs.
Collaborate with functional consultants across MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, HR, and other SAP modules.
Provide production support, troubleshooting, bug fixing, and technical issue resolution.
Participate in SIT, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support activities.
Prepare technical specifications, development documentation, and test cases.
Follow SAP development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.

Required Technical Skills

Mandatory Skills:
3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development
Strong knowledge of ABAP and ABAP OO
Solid experience in RICEF Objects
Expertise in Reports Classical, Interactive, ALV, and OO ALV
Robust knowledge of Data Dictionary (DDIC) Tables, Structures, Views, Domains, Data Elements, Search Helps, and Indexes
Experience with Enhancements, User Exits, Customer Exits, and BADIs
