Roles & Responsibilities
Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the hospital pharmacy.
Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medicines as per valid prescriptions.
Maintain adequate stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of medicines.
Monitor stock, expiry dates, batch numbers, and conduct regular stock reconciliation.
Ensure proper storage and temperature maintenance of medicines, including cold-chain items.
Coordinate with Purchase Department and approved vendors for medicine procurement.
Supervise pharmacy staff, allocate duties, and monitor performance and discipline.
Ensure accurate pharmacy billing, returns, and reconciliation with the Accounts Department.
Maintain pharmacy records, registers, controlled-drug documentation, and audit requirements.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medication safety standards, and applicable pharmacy regulations.
